In the framework of the Year of Russia in France (2010) we had an idea that the best way to celebrate this occasion would be a special present for the president of the French republic, Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy. Obviously, the ambassador of Domain des Broix, cognac “l’Oeuvre” became that present, as it shows evidence of mastery and the highest results of all group “KIN” projects in France. An exclusive packaging was made of expensive wood, 24-carat gold and leather especially for this occasion.
“l’Oeuvre” is not simply a cognac – it is a picture drawn by the master Maitre de Chai, who managed to create it step by step, putting all of his talent into this original piece of art.
This is exactly the reason why the exclusive packaging is the artist’s stylized box, which underlines the message that is carried by the name of the cognac: in French “l’Oeuvre” means “creation” and is associated with art in both cultures.
The president of the republic was moved by the fact of receiving a present and has paid us a great honor by replying with a letter of gratitude.
The creative director of group “KIN” Philippe Seys commented on his impressions: “We were incredibly proud of the fact that Mr. Sarkozy answered personally and that our cognac was in Elysee Palace today and was rated by the president of the French Republic. It gives us extra strength in our daily work, in an effort to achieve even better quality and perfection”.
